West Wing is an impressive four-bedroom coastal house set in the exclusive Yarmer Estate, Thurlestone. Occupying an enviable location, this stunning home has uninterrupted sea views over Thurlestone Golf Course and towards the famous Thurlestone Rock. Its panoramic sea views, stylish interiors and gorgeous gardens combine to make this impressive home the perfect coastal retreat for family holidays and group getaways.
Inside, the large French doors and high ceilings create a bright and airy space to sit back and unwind. It's a homely spot too, with nautical blue tones, plenty of comfy furniture and a rustic wood-burning stove to curl up by on chillier evenings. Gather with friends to watch films on the smart TV or challenge each other to a game of table football. Large windows with sea views provide a panoramic vista both from here and the dining room where you can enjoy delicious meals at the comfortable dining table seating eight in style. Another log burner keeps the room toasty and glass doors open out to the terrace and lovely garden.
A modern and well-equipped kitchen boasts a large Aga, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso machine, plus there’s a convenient utility room with an additional fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer to clean the sand from your clothes.
The four bedrooms, three of which benefit from sensational sea views, have been thoughtfully styled with calming coastal colours. The light, clean colour pallet and wooden floors add a cheerful, welcoming ambience. The master, which also has an ensuite bathroom, and twin bedroom open out onto the fabulous balcony, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee whilst watching the waves roll in.
Two stylish and charming wood-panelled bathrooms offer a luxurious bathing experience with one boasting a claw foot bathtub and both offering fluffy towels and Land and Water toiletries.
Outside, soak up the tranquil sea breeze from West Wing’s gorgeous secure gardens, relax in one of the comfy sun loungers and enjoy the stunning sunset views with a glass of chilled rosé. Then fire up the Weber coal BBQ before gathering for an alfresco meal around the outdoor dining table.
There is a convenient local village pub and well-stocked village shop nearby and a quick amble over the golf course will take you to the beautiful Thurlestone Sands. Or head left along the stunning South West Coastal Path to South Milton Beach and the quaint seaside village of Hope Cove. In the other direction, you’ll find yourself at the surfers' paradise of Bantham.
