Complete with its own heated indoor swimming pool, staying at Burr Barn blends traditional country life with a touch of luxury and class. And thanks to its wonderful interiors, open-plan kitchen and dining area and its numerous snugs, the space lends itself very well to sociable living. No matter the time of year, guests can relax and unwind, reconnect with loved ones and take in the lush green surroundings while cosying up to the fire or sharing a glass of wine in the farmhouse kitchen. And thanks to its location based on a farm in rural Devon, there's plenty of opportunity to get outdoors, take in the fresh air and recharge the batteries.
Burr Barn is around 200-years-old, and so stepping inside, its charm and character is immediately obvious. The interiors have been renovated to ensure modern, luxury living is high on the agenda, while not losing out on any of its rustic feel. The addition of a log-burner and underfloor heating really adds to its warming ambience in winter, while the courtyard with BBQ is a real must during the summer months.
There are four lovely bedrooms, comprised of two kingsized bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms, as well as two twin rooms, perfect for kids. These rooms share a family bathroom. Everyone will be kept entertained by the table football and table tennis, as well as the various TVs around the house. But the real draw here is the heated indoor swimming pool, which will provide hours of fun and relaxation for all ages.
Burr Barn can be found on the beautiful Wood Farm Devon, which is close to the interesting town of Totnes and the lovely Dartmouth. Not too far from the coast, guests can really make the most of the stunning coastline, watersports and scenery in this part of the county. There are plenty of walking trails and opportunities to hike the picturesque terrain. Children and adults alike will not be disappointed.
