The entire face of the property has been constructed solely from large timber beams and glass panels, allowing the home to be flooded with light and giving guests the opportunity to enjoy every moment of their rural retreat. Entry is gained through a modest stable side door directly into the inspirational living space. A double-height ceiling creates a truly impressive open plan living space. Modern design and traditional touches combine to create a stunning area to relax, socialise and enjoy the impressive surroundings before even taking a step outside.
Industrial style copper pendant lamps hang high from the rafters, illuminating a large dining table, luxurious living area and modern kitchen, which is equipped with everything you might need to create wonderful memory-making meals. Guests can also take advantage of the on-site farm shop, where fresh, local produce can be purchased including Maynard Farm's famous bacon.
There are two bedrooms, a twin on the ground floor which has a handy bathroom next door. Pretty tiles, fluffy towels and a slipper bath suggest hours of candle lit relaxation after busy days exploring the area. The stunning master bedroom is situated on a glass fronted mezzanine, overlooking the living space and beyond, out onto the fields towards the horizon. Guests enjoy long, deep slumber in the gorgeous sleigh-style bed with its crisp linens and luxurious woollen throws. The property makes for the perfect year-round bolthole.
In summer, throw open the doors to enjoy the fresh air, flora and fauna from the paved patio complete with outdoor furniture. In winter snuggle into one of the deep sofas and stoke up the wood burner, and watch the dramatic weather move across the intense winter skies.
