These three wonderful safari lodges can be booked separately or as a whole to accommodate up to 20 people. With so many luxury extras and extremely cosy welcoming interiors they would be perfect for a large group getaway, families, friends or just anyone wanting to unwind and reconnect with nature.
The lodges; Pump House, Mountain and Breidden all sit adjacent to one another in a grass meadow, but with plenty of room for privacy, in an elevated position overlooking a large pond. The setting is pretty idyllic and there are plenty of lovely extras which make the fun experience of staying on a dairy farm as luxurious and relaxing as possible.
Pump House Lodge is dog-friendly with a large veranda where you can sit and take in the view. There's a ground floor patio with a BBQ and picnic bench ideal for lazy lunches with a cold beer as the hounds dash about in the meadow. The interior is lovely and rustic with three bedrooms, a double, a twin and a bunk which would be great for kids or friends. The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for rustling up a hearty breakfast and when it's chilly you can relax in the spacious living area with the wood-burner keeping you nice and toasty whilst you watch a movie. There's a hot shower and a sink and WC inside. An extra feature that's particularly charming is the swing seat where you can enjoy the sunset with a nice beverage.
Breidden Lodge is double-height and sleeps eight in four twin rooms, making it a great option for friends sharing. The bedrooms are on the lower level with a large outdoor deck where you can chill or sink into your own private hot tub - the ideal place to relax and unwind in style. Upstairs the safari tent overlooks the meadow and there's a fully-equipped kitchen, dining and living area with a TV and a log burner for cosy nights in. This lodge boasts two bathrooms with hot showers and heated towel rails really putting the 'glam' in glamping. Relax in the lovely interior with a toasty fire or make use of the BBQ just outside on the grass and enjoy an alfresco dinner at the picnic table.
Finally, Mountain Lodge sleeps six in three comfortable bedrooms, with a double, a twin and bunk room on offer. There's a small deck with a hot tub and sun loungers for lazy afternoons and cold drinks, another large veranda where you can take in the views and a ground floor patio with a BBQ and picnic bench where you can rustle up some burgers. This lodge has another lovely living space, with a fully-equipped kitchen and a cosy wood burner making the lodge great in all weathers. The lodge also features a bathroom with a hot shower and WC to keep things civilised and this lodge also has another lovely swing chair from which you can enjoy the view.
Within the grounds of the farm you'll find an exercise area, sauna and outdoor kitchen with a wood fired pizza oven, which always makes for a fun, easy dinner, especially if you're cooking for large numbers. The grassy meadow is also perfect for games of rounders, kicking a ball about and just generally playing!
The market town of Oswestry is just three miles away and has an ancient hill fort and is a good place to stock up on food and goodies at Llynclys Hall Farm shop and several supermarkets. Sweeney Farm is located at the gateway to Wales and is within easy reach of the Snowdonia national park for a day of hiking and beautiful scenery. The White Lion and The Original Ball are the nearest pubs for a pint and a good meal. The Stonehouse Brewery also makes cider and gin. Oswestry has a plenty of takeaways that can deliver to the farm!
