Set looking over the charming village of Sennen, you will find the large and luxurious dwelling of Sea the View. Surrounded by the glorious Cornish countryside and the soft sandy beaches that line the shore, this stylish abode is the perfect choice for one or two couples, or a family of four travelling with their canine companions to this magnificent part of the country.
Drive into your private car port and enter into the glorious open-plan living space, home to a chic seating area with a flat-screen TV and eye-catching woodburning stove, along with a fully-fitted kitchen hosting all the essential appliances and a sociable dining area where you can enjoy many mouth-watering meals with your loved ones.
Slide open the doors for an entertaining evening out in the garden as you indulge in a dip in the hot tub, lie in a hammock or a drink at the swing bar, before heading back indoors to the handy cloakroom where you can quickly freshen up. Admire the striking crystal chandelier and stunning view through the picture window as you climb the staircase up to the first floor and discover two super-king-size bedrooms, each of which boast a stunning free-standing copper bathtub and their very own en-suite shower room, as well as attractive and bespoke furnishings that add an extra touch of unique quality to this fabulous holiday home.
One of the bedrooms benefits from a private balcony with all-weather furnishings and cedar wood roof, ideal for a quick nightcap with your significant other as you admire the far reaching views to Porthcurno, Sennen Cove and the Isles of Scilly beyond.
The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn.
Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
