Tucked into the cliffside, overlooking beautiful St Ives Bay, this stylish, modern, yet cosy, cabin is the perfect family retreat with the beach right on the doorstep.
In the height of summer, head out early for breakfast butties on the sand and a morning dip in the clear waters. As the beach begins gets busy, take the short stroll back to the chalet for afternoons lazing around in the private garden, maybe sit back and sip sparkling wine in the sunshine, enjoying the views and the sun's rays away from the crowds.
This stunning property has a modern and chic interior. The living area is open plan with polished concrete floors throughout and underfloor heating keeps toes cosy. There's also a well-equipped kitchen that has everything guests need for creating delicious meals which can be enjoyed at the circular wooden table with seating for four. Situated by large windows, visitors can enjoy the lovely views over lengthy dinners.
On those balmy summer days, pull back the floor-to-ceiling glass doors and let the sea air flow through the chalet. Step out onto the large balcony and make the most of the views which we're sure you'll never tire of. When the sun has set and the sea air begins to chill, get cosy on the soft sofa and enjoy a movie night on the 50'' Bang & Olufsen television. Or gaze at the night sky through the large windows.
At bedtime, choose from two lovely bedrooms. Both with high quality mattresses and bedding, these calming and quiet rooms guarantee a great night's sleep. Both rooms are serviced by a luxurious family bathroom with a full-sized bath for washing off the salt and sand at the end of the day.
But this wonderful chalet isn't just a summer special, with underfloor heating and large windows overlooking the bay, it can be enjoyed throughout the year. Take romantic winter strolls along the beach and, when the squall blows in, head back home and watching the weather lash the coast from the comfort of the cosy chalet. Take coastal walks from the doorstep or head into nearby Hayle for a bite to eat. The Old Quay House overlooks the RSPB reserve at Hayle estuary and has a great beer garden with play equipment for the little ones.

Leave a reviewAmazing place. Felt very lucky to be in the location. My only comment would be felt pads on the chair legs and on the back of the bottom of the blinds so when the windows open it doesn’t bang at night. The design of the house is amazing and we loved it. Thank you
