The Island is a superb seaside retreat situated on its own private island. This really is a truly unique home, offering groups of up to six guests an unforgettable stay with incredible sea views and luxurious, charming interiors.
The grand living space is extremely stylish and is all connected, ensuring you can socialise together at all times. When tummies rumble, the super-modern kitchen is perfect for whipping up a feast, which can be enjoyed on the sleek dining table whilst gazing out at the view. The kitchen itself is brand new, and features an induction hob and other appliances that are all electric. And, on warmer days, there are two BBQs as your disposal outside, offering you the chance to whip up some delicious local produce whilst taking in your surroundings.
You can then gather with your loved ones by the fire in the comfy lounge on the sofa or armchairs, catching up over a tasty tipple, or sit at the window seats with a nice cup of tea and gaze out over the sea. There’s also a charming games room, with a bar where you can perch with a drink and bar billiards, should you wish to challenge your loved ones to a game.
On warm days, you can wander through the charming garden that wraps around the entire property. Though not large, the garden’s layout - with its lower terrace - means there’s always a spot on sunny days to relax, watch surfers, spot birds at the feeder or tuck yourself away with a book in a deckchair, hammock or hanging seat.
Back inside, The Island has three luxurious bedrooms with super comfy beds. The two upstairs bedrooms have breathtaking sea views, the third bedroom is conveniently downstairs with a garden view. The main bedroom even has its own free-standing bathtub offering you the chance to indulge in a relaxing soak before bed. The main bedroom features a double bed, whilst the other two bedrooms can be configured as doubles or twins on request.
It’s hard to leave the magic of The Island, but in just 60 seconds, you can be from bridge to sand, ready to explore. Surrounded by sea at high tide and sand at low, the ever-changing landscape keeps things fascinating. Walk or swim around the Island, explore four nearby beaches and enjoy beachside cafés and restaurants. At very low tide, discover a fifth beach next to Porth Island which was an Iron Age fort. A tide clock in the living room helps you plan your day with nature’s rhythm as your guide.
While The Island feels wonderfully private, it’s just off the lively surf town of Newquay. In summer, expect the sounds of beachgoers and surfers below during low tide, while off-season brings a quieter vibe. A surf school and gear hire are right on Towan Beach, and on calmer days, try paddleboarding or kayaking. Nearby adventures include coasteering, ziplining, go-karting, horse riding, spa visits and stunning cliff walks along the South West Coast Path.

Dates must start and finish on a Monday or Friday, and so a stay can be for a 3-night long weekend, a 4-night mid-week break, or a full week (or some combination of those, such as 10 or 14 days).
Rates for a weekend or mid-week break are 75% of the full week.
A couple using only one bedroom can take advantage of a special “Just for two” discount of 25%. To be fair to our guests bringing school-aged children, this discount does not apply during school holidays (Easter, summer, Christmas and half terms).
The rates range from:
- a week in peak season for up to six people: £5,920; down to
- a “Just for Two” 3-night weekend (or 4-night mid-week break) out of term time: £1,350.
