The Details
You’ll find On The Rocks Beach House just 30 metres from the waters edge on the stunning South Cornish coast. With impeccable interiors, an outdoor sunken Japanese hot tub and an exceptional games room that has a pool table, PS3, Wii console and a home cinema system - to name just a few! Sleeping from two to seven people, it promises to please every member of your party - whether you’re there to enjoy walking, surfing or just straight up relaxing.
On the top floor there is a breathtakingly beautiful open plan living, dining and kitchen. With floor-to-ceiling windows taking in the glittering sea views, limed oak floors and striking artwork, it’s a gorgeous room. The styling is suitably relaxed with natural fibres and colourful textiles adding plenty of warmth. The living area has comfortable sofas and a gas fire for any chilly nights in. There’s also a 32” television with the Sky.
The kitchen is both well equipped and beautiful - with an oak larder, large fridge freezer, ceramic hob, Bosch oven, microwave, Siemens dishwasher and large double ceramic butler sink. And there's ample pots, pans and crockery. Next to the kitchen is the stylish dining area with a unique table and views out over the coastline.
Head through the French doors in the living area to discover the wonderful deck complete with a sunken Japanese hot tub and seating. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a drink as the sun sets.
On the ground floor there are two double en suite bedrooms and one triple ensuite (with a bunk above the double bed). All the rooms come with luxury mattresses, crisp white linen and gorgeous styling - from colourful artwork to individual finishing touches. And the en suites all boast large walk-in showers and cosy underfloor heating.
In the lower floor there is a games room and TV den. It is a fabulous space with everything you could possibly need for a rainy day. With a 50” flat screen TV, a home cinema system, high-definition DVD/CD player, 3D Blue-Ray (plus the latest 3D films library), table football, and a pool table that doubles as an air hockey table. And any gamers will be pleased to hear that there is also a Sony PS3 and a Wii console - complete with games. And to keep it suitably comfortable, there’s a large leather sofa.
If you can draw yourself away from the entertainment indoors, there are some of Cornwall’s finest beaches to discover right on your doorstep. The house is set back from a small harbour and rocky foreshore that leads on to a large sandy beach - perfect for any surfers or sandcastle makers in the party. And the South West coastal path starts just 50 metres from the property. The local village offers up a hotel with indoor leisure facilities and there’s also a stunning 18-hole golf course that takes in sea views. And if you feel the need to head further afield then The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are both just 30 minutes away.
