As you approach Rockpools luxury apartment, you can’t help but notice the luxury fittings, modern styling and light, airy interiors that invite you to slow down and escape the bustle of the modern world. Your newly renovated, wood-panelled home boasts a large, private terrace with big entertaining and dining areas, a sunken hot tub, a smaller upper balcony and plenty of internal space for up to eight guests.
A large, open-plan living and kitchen area is truly the heart of the home. Granite worktops, high-end appliances and a huge dining table make it the perfect place to feed the whole family. An American-style fridge freezer holds everything you need for your self-catering stay, with all crockery, utensils and cookware on hand to make anything you can think of. In the mornings, the smell of fresh coffee from the Nespresso machine fills the downstairs.
Rounding out the living area, three huge, plush sofas sit around the large Smart TV, perfect for curling up on for a movie night or board games with friends. The light and airy decor, with natural tones and muted colours, invites you to slow down and recharge. Large patio doors open out onto the breathtaking terrace. In the summer months, it’s the perfect place to relax and catch some rays. Unwind with a glass of something on the large outdoor sofas, light the BBQ and dine alfresco in the outdoor dining area, or soak away the stresses of the modern world with a dip in your sunken hot tub.
As the night draws in and it’s time to head to bed, there’s a range of choices for adults and kids alike. The ensuite master suite boasts plenty of space and gorgeous styling that features calming colours and thick, white bedding to drift off under. The pair of twin rooms share a bathroom and are perfect for little ones or additional guests. Both have exclusive use of the first-floor terrace, and large, floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the rooms in light to wake up to. The second, king size ensuite sits on the ground floor and boasts a private bath and shower room, as well as comfy bedding and signature styling.
Rockpools is the perfect place for friends and family to relax and reconnect with each other. Whether it’s lounging on your terrace or making the most of the onsite facilities, there’s something for everyone. Guests have full access to a gym, spa, sauna and steam room, as well as thrilling watersports activities such as paddleboarding, wakeboarding, surfing or using the aquapark. Further afield, the famous town of Newquay is just eight miles away and offers golden sands, lively nightlife and plenty of shops and activities for all ages. For something more peaceful, head to idyllic Padstow for fish and chips and get lost exploring the narrow streets and alleyways filled with independent outlets.
