Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac, this cosy abode with direct access to sand dunes is a peaceful coastal escape for any couple or small family. The home is rooted in its surroundings through natural textures and a neutral colour scheme, accented with pops of blue. On sunny days, there’s no better place to soak up the sunshine than in the southwest-facing garden or on Gwithian Beach, just a 15-minute walk away.
An open-plan living space with a large window means you’ll have lovely views of the landscape as you relax on the comfy sofa. Warm up in front of the log-burning stove and watch your favourite show on the Smart TV after wind-whipped walks along the seafront. If it’s a rainy day, crack out the board games and nurse a hot cup of tea. The kitchen here is modern and fully equipped. Caffeine fans will be pleased to know there’s a coffee machine for your morning espressos perched at the breakfast bar.
When night falls, retreat to the bedrooms. The main bedroom boasts a super-king size bed while the second comprises two singles. Expect high-quality cotton linens and comfortable mattresses, ensuring a restful sleep. The bathroom is the final room in the property – you’ll find everything you need for freshening up, including fluffy towels.
Outside, the garden offers direct access to the Upton Towans Nature Reserve and is the perfect spot to bask in the fair weather. There’s a charcoal BBQ for alfresco dinners, and bodyboards, buckets, spades and a windbreak are available for you to enjoy. Make your way to Godrevy Point via the South West Coast Path or head into Hayle for a bite to eat at an independent eatery. An afternoon in picturesque St Ives, famous for its harbour, art galleries and golden sand, is a must – it’s only a 15-minute drive away.
