Set on a working farm in the Cornish countryside, this beautiful stone farmhouse offers luxurious accommodation for up to eight guests. The interior has been beautifully furnished in a contemporary style that highlights the rustic character of the building and its surroundings. You’ll find warm tones and textures in the flagged stone floors, exposed wooden beams and floorboards along with sheepskins and velvet bedspreads. After a day at the beach, tackling some of the South West Coastal Path or visiting the Eden Project, snuggle up in front of the log burner as you decide where to explore next.
The interior of the house immediately feels warm and welcoming with soft lighting and natural wood features highlighted in many of the furnishings. Start the day by rustling up a hearty breakfast in the kitchen and planning the day’s activities at the bar or the big dining table. This open-plan kitchen and dining space is the social hub of the house and feels cosy thanks to the warm pendant lighting and fluffy sheep skins on the flagged stone floors and wooden benches. As evening draws in, it’s the perfect spot to gather everyone together for a big family meal and reminisce about the day’s adventures.
After dinner, get a fire going in the log burner in the living room, get stuck into a board game or simply sit back and relax on the big comfy sofas. There are four bedrooms in total, all furnished in soft, relaxing tones with comfy beds, promising a good night’s sleep. The main bedroom has a super-king size bed and an ensuite bathroom. You’ll find another double with a king size bed, a twin room and a bunk room, which is a favourite with the kids.
Bogee Farm is located in a peaceful spot in the Cornish countryside and your only neighbours will be sheep, cows and the two pet goats, Sunny and Billy. However, you’ll find some of Cornwall’s most spectacular beaches within a few miles. Head down to Harlyn Bay for a sheltered beach which often has gentle rolling waves, perfect for those learning to surf. Make your way around the headland to the huge sweeping Constantine Bay for some bigger waves and explore the sand dunes. If you head over the rocks to Booby’s Bay at low tide, you might be lucky enough to find an old shipwreck emerging from the sand.
The bustling harbour town of Padstow is also close by with an impressive number of its restaurants earning their place on the Michelin Guide and you can try your hand at crabbing from the harbour walls. Head inland to the Eden Project or down the coast for a day trip to St Ives.
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 4 nights low season & 7 nights high season
