This beautiful home by the sea in Cornwall offers groups of up to nine guests a fabulous coastal retreat. The home, which is modern and stylish inside, sits a mere 200 yards from the coastal path, offers the perfect base from which to enjoy a quintessential British seaside break.
With extensive lawned gardens and a grand open-plan living space, this home from home offers plenty of room for you and your loved ones to spread out and socialise together. You’ll love the living space, which features a lounge, dining area and modern kitchen, all nicely linked so you can stay connected wherever you are.
Sit with your loved ones on the sofas in the lounge and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV as the log-burner crackles away keeping you warm and toasty. Or, if the weather’s warm, head out onto your incredible deck and garden, where you’ll find a BBQ, some fab outdoor seating, sun loungers and a large dining table for alfresco meals. The deck is the perfect place to enjoy an evening tipple as the sun sets, taking in your surroundings whilst catching up with loved ones.
For a little extra luxury, Rock Pipit features a large hot tub, ideal for relaxing after a long day exploring the area. Whether you're visiting in winter or summer, it’s the perfect way to unwind and soak in the tranquil surroundings.
Back inside, the modern kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare hearty breakfasts and grand dinners for your group. The dining table sits next to huge sliding glass doors, setting the scene for wonderful meals together that stretch long into the night.
When night falls, Rock Pipit offers four beautifully appointed bedrooms. Upstairs, you'll find a king bedroom and a super-king bedroom that can be converted into twins if needed. Downstairs, there’s a further king bedroom and a twin room. For additional guests, the snug/office provides a comfy double sofa bed, and two truckle beds for children can be added in the upstairs rooms on request for a small fee.
When it comes to bathrooms, the upstairs bedrooms both have ensuite bathrooms for added privacy, with a bath and shower, while a third bathroom with a bath/shower is located downstairs. For added convenience, there’s also a downstairs loo near the utility room.
When it comes to venturing out, you’re close to the amazing Polzeath beach. Polzeath is a haven for surfers, bodyboarders and paddleboarders, with rental and lessons available at Wavehunters, Surfs Up or George’s Surf School. Whether you're riding the waves or enjoying the golden sand, there's something for everyone.
Explore the stunning coastal walks straight from your door or hop on the Camel Trail for a scenic bike ride. For thrill-seekers, try coasteering, sea kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding at nearby Port Quin and Port Gaverne with Cornish Rok Tors and Cornish Coasteering.
