Wonderfully secluded, this supremely stylish home offers groups of up to 10 guests a charming break in the Cornish countryside. The home sits in a woodland glade providing you and your loved ones with a tranquil location and incredible views of the surrounding scenery. Once a hay barn, this gorgeous retreat now blends Italian Alpine charm with rustic Cornish character.
The home was designed by a duo featured on Grand Designs and when you step inside you’ll be blown away by the calming decor and stylish furnishings throughout. The main social hub is the fantastic kitchen dining space. This is a bright and airy room that’s flooded with natural light and features a rustic wooden floor that adds bucketloads of character to the space. Whip up a delicious feast in the stylish and practical kitchen, whilst your loved ones perch on the kitchen island with a glass of wine in hand. Then, when dinner’s ready, take it over to the wonderful farmhouse dining table and enjoy a grand, social dinner that stretches long into the night.
After dinner, get comfy in the cosy lounge with its corner sofa and smart TV to enjoy a movie night, sit in the second living room with a good book or take your drinks outside and chat the evening away as the sun begins to set over the trees.
When night falls, there are five wonderful bedrooms for you to choose from. Each is as stylish as the next, and they all feature wonderful beds, carefully chosen furnishings and windows offering lovely views of your lush green surroundings. Before bed you can head to the family bathroom for a relaxing bath, or head to the master bedroom's ensuite, which features a bath that sits next to a picture window, allowing you to enjoy an indulgent soak with a view!
This home sits in three acres of orchards and valleys, and secret nooks for kids to discover. Days are filled with stream-dipping, seaside adventures or cycling the Camel Trail, while grown-ups can enjoy coffee on the bird-song-filled patio.
A bridleway leads to Mawgan Porth beach, where Mermaid Pools appear at low tide, and rolling waves beckon surfers of all levels. Linger for the signature sunsets before heading back for a candlelit Cornish feast, indoors or under the stars. Perfect for unwinding, this is where timeless design meets the soothing rhythms of nature.
