As you approach Little Polgarron, you can’t help but notice the scale of your exclusive, luxury getaway. Huge glass windows lead directly to a large terrace and lawn area that boasts stunning views over beautiful Booby’s Bay and out to the North Atlantic Ocean. Modern luxuries and contemporary style sit inside a traditional exterior. With space for up to 10 guests, it’s the perfect place for groups of friends or large families to relax, recharge and reconnect.
When you step through the front door and into the double-height entrance hall, you can’t help but be entranced by the coastal hip decor. Driftwood features, oversized storm lanterns and luxury designer furnishings are complemented with locally sourced art and sculptures. The huge windows create a light, airy space supplemented with golden, bare wood floorboards and natural tones.
The large kitchen is the heart of the home and features huge patio doors that open onto the glorious garden. Fully equipped with all the mod-cons, it’s perfect for creating meals for the whole group morning, noon and night. A large dining table and set of chairs are ideal for casual meals and entertaining, while a more formal dining area is there for those special occasions. During the summer months, light the BBQ and enjoy your food on the outside tables for some alfresco dining.
The living room is perfectly designed so everyone can relax together. The Stuv wood burner creates a calming, welcoming atmosphere in the colder months, and the inviting sofas with luxury linens, leather and wood materials invite you to sink into them and cuddle up. The games table is perfect for late-night Scrabble and Monopoly marathons, while the cinema room is perfect for movie nights under a blanket. The study boasts plenty of books and provides the perfect space to relax and read or send a quick email.
As the night draws in and it’s time to head to bed, you can choose from five beautiful bedrooms, each with stunning sea views and either a sumptuous ViSpring bed, or an oak four-poster. All bedrooms have an ensuite with a Hansgrohe deluge shower, while three boast a freestanding Castello bath. Pour yourself a glass of something and soak away the stresses of the day with views over the Atlantic.
Little Polgarron is perfectly situated on Cornwall’s Atlantic Coast. The charming town of Padstow with its famous restaurants, independent shops, traditional pubs and historic harbour is less than 10 minutes away by car. Further south, the lively town of Newquay offers famous surf beaches, bustling nightlife and several events and festivals in the summer. Golf lovers are well catered for, with the prestigious Trevose Head golf course located just behind the cottage, while watersports lovers can surf, kayak, snorkel, swim and SUP directly from Booby’s Bay.
