With several large terraces, all with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating and dining furniture, Rockpools is the perfect place to while-away sunny days, relaxing with family and friends.

Wake early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise from the comfort of the stylish ensuite bedroom before heading to the open plan living and kitchen area. Turn on the coffee machine and wait the for the blend to brew, while you pull back the bi-fold doors and take in the fresh sea air before leaning against the breakfast bar to enjoy some peaceful moments at the start of the day. As friends and family begin to surface, fuel the family with hearty breakfasts whipped up in the state-of-the-art kitchen.

Take a stroll down to pretty Watergate Bay, where guests can sunbathe, swim and surf on this lovely beach or take a walk along the stunning coastal path.

Return to Rockpools in late afternoon, and, after showering away the sand and surf, relax with a pre-dinner drink on one of the large terraces. Grill freshly caught seafood on the big BBQ and relax in the swing chairs, contemplating the view, while the fish crackles on the hot coals. Pop open a cold bottle of Chardonnay and settle around the large dining table, sharing anecdotes and jokes with friends. Enjoy every last ray of the daylight and watch the sun sink into the horizon.

Perhaps head back outside for star spotting under the clear night sky from the luxury of the huge hot tub, or steam the day away in the sauna. Guests feeling tired after the day's fun and games can get cosy indoors on the enormous velvet sofa and fire up the wood burner before settling in for a movie.

For those looking for some late night action, Newquay is just a short drive away and has a lively nightlife. Or, for family meals out, head to Jamie Oliver's restaurant Fifteen, a short stroll away at Watergate Bay.
