Offering up delightful views of St Mawes Harbour on Cornwall’s Roseland Peninsula, Fiddlers Green is a wonderful seaside retreat for groups of up to 12 guests (eight adults maximum). Perched high up above the sea, the home offers these amazing views from a number of vantage points, including the spacious balcony where you can sit with a drink in hand watching the sun set with your loved ones.
This fantastic reverse-level property offers lots of room for friends and family to relax and unwind together in style. Gather in the large living room, on the first floor, where big comfy sofas sit in a room that’s flooded with natural light thanks to huge sliding glass doors that open up onto the balcony.
Relax in the lounge chatting the night away as you gaze out at the wonderful sea views, and when the weather’s warm, slide the doors open and step out onto your giant balcony which sets the scene for afternoons spent watching boats out on the water with a drink in hand. There’s a wood-burning fireplace in the lounge too, so you can stay toasty and warm whatever the weather outside and a Smart TV offers you the chance to enjoy a movie night.
Just off the lounge is another seating area, with another big sofa and some armchairs offering another spot to unwind, perhaps with a good book and a nice cup of tea.
When it comes to whipping up meals during your stay, the modern kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you’ll need. The kitchen is yet another bright and airy space, with a dining table at one end that offers yet more amazing sea views.
When night falls, head to one of the five superb bedrooms, all of which are designed to provide you with a peaceful night’s sleep. All of the bedrooms are on the entrance level, including the family suite which is perfect for a family with small children. The property also offers four bathrooms, including one with a bathtub for a relaxing soak after a day on the beach.
Outside, Fiddlers Green has a lawned garden where you can sit in the sunshine, soaking in the fresh sea air. You’ll also adore the balcony, with its comfy seating and a dining table that sets the scene for epic summer lunches with a view.
When it comes to filling your days, there’s lots to see and do nearby. St Mawes, a charming Cornish village, is a delight for nature lovers and history enthusiasts alike. Nestled on the Roseland Peninsula, it offers stunning coastal views, picturesque harbours and serene countryside walks. Explore the well-preserved St Mawes Castle, built by Henry VIII, or take a ferry to Falmouth for more seaside charm.
The surrounding coastline boasts hidden coves, sandy beaches and scenic cliffside trails, perfect for hiking or simply soaking in the breathtaking coastal beauty of Cornwall.
