Cloudsrock is a calming and beautiful home in Cornwall offering groups of up to 10 guests a serene, luxurious retreat. The impressive interior design makes use of dynamic, open-plan layouts, modern appliances and incredible grounds that look out over the sea.
The main social hub of this home is the impressive kitchen/dining space. This outstanding room has a supremely stylish kitchen with a grand kitchen island and lots of work surface space. The kitchen is also kitted out with high-spec appliances to ensure budding chefs have all they need to whip up delicious feasts.
Opposite the kitchen is a beautiful dining table that sits beneath a glass ceiling and next to gigantic sliding glass doors that open up onto the south-facing terrace. In summer, slide them open to let the outside in, and when the weather’s colder simply dine inside whilst gazing out at the view.
Just off this space is the wonderfully cosy lounge. Here you can make the most of the underfloor heating and wood burning fireplace to stay toasty all year round. Settle into the large, comfy sofas and armchairs with a glass of wine and socialise long into the night. This space also features a Bose bluetooth speaker and a secondary TV. French doors open up to a loggia with soft seating and yet more magnificent estuary views.
Guests can also sneak off to the snug, which has a squishy L-shaped sofa, masses of cushions and a 40” Samsung Smart HD TV with Sky and a DVD player for movie nights and box set marathons.
Stepping outside, this amazing home offers a one-acre garden that looks out over the estuary with a south-facing lawn where you can soak up the sunshine. There’s also the aforementioned Loggia with sheltered seating, should you wish to enjoy some shade. The property also has a gas-fired BBQ as well as alfresco lounge furniture and teak sunbeds on the first floor sundeck.
Kids will love the garden as they can play on the sprawling lawn or make use of the large climbing frame that’s tucked away in one corner. Adults must make sure they are overseeing any children making use of the climbing frame.
When night falls, Cloudsrock boasts five spacious bedrooms with garden and estuary views. The Master Suite features a super-king bed, ensuite shower room and a wonderful Juliet balcony. This room also opens onto a glass-fronted sundeck - perfect for soaking up the sun or rolling out a yoga mat - which it shares with the second bedroom. The second bedroom also offers amazing estuary views and also features a super-king size bed.
Up next is the twin room and a stylish bunk room, both of which enjoy south-facing vistas, and the additional rear bedroom is a twin room that overlooks the garden and dunes. At the west end of the hallway, you'll find two inviting family bathrooms, each designed for comfort with sleek sealed wood or cosy Warmfoot flooring. One features a relaxing bathtub for indulgent soaks, while the other offers a spacious drench shower, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.
Cloudsrock sits along Cornwall’s north coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering endless outdoor adventures and stunning views. Its garden leads to wild dunes and sandy beaches, while a nearby hilltop is perfect for sunsets. Watersports enthusiasts will find windsurfing, paddleboarding and kitesurfing, and there is also world-class golf on offer at St Enodoc.
Nearby Rock Beach connects to Daymer Bay, ideal for family fun like crab hunting and picnics. Foodies can explore dozens of eateries, from casual pubs to Michelin-starred restaurants. Coastal trails, nearby galleries and iconic gardens like Lanhydrock complete this destination, making it perfect for all ages and seasons.
