Relax and enjoy the stunning views from this luxurious lodge for four, nestled away in a tranquil eco-reserve in the Cotswolds.
This delightful two-bedroom property is set in a 50-acre private eco-reserve in South Cerney, beside two pristine lakes and beautiful woodland. The secluded reserve gives lucky guests the opportunity to truly relax and reconnect with nature in total privacy. Moreover, the lodge couldn’t be better located to discover the gorgeous countryside, picturesque villages and vibrant market towns of the Cotswolds, and is a wonderful haven to return to after a day of exploring.
Tastefully designed and finished to an exceptionally high standard, the lodge is just as impressive as the idyllic surroundings. Guests enter into the open plan living space, which houses a well-equipped modern kitchen, dining table and seating area with comfy sofas, a smart TV and a cosy log burner with an inexhaustible supply of logs. The room is bright and airy, thanks to the large glass windows and doors that open out onto the decking.
The spacious private decking overlooks a small pond that connects to one of the lakes, which is around 50m away. Fitted with loungers, a parasol and an outdoor table, it’s the perfect place to soak up some sunshine and take in the views with a glass of your favourite tipple. When it’s time for bed, guests can retreat to two super king bedrooms, fitted with premium mattresses and linen to ensure a sound night’s sleep. The property has one shared bathroom with bath over shower, and fluffy towels are provided for your stay.
The eco-reserve offers sanctuary to a rich diversity of wildlife including deer, bats and wildfowl. Some of these can be spotted when wandering down the many paths that pass through the woods and alongside the lakes. There is much more to see in the local area if you can pry yourselves away from the glorious reserve, including the Cotswold Water Park. The park boasts 40 square miles of stunning wetlands, with parks, lakes and even a sandy beach. It also offers a wide range of activities including cycling, water sports and birdwatching. The Cotswolds is home to many charming villages and towns, including nearby Cirencester (famous for its Roman history), where you’ll find a selection of quirky independent shops and fantastic places to eat.
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 2 nights low season & 3 nights high season
