With eight log houses all perfectly placed around the 100 acre lake there is plenty of tranquility to go round. And sleeping from four up to eleven people - you can choose the perfect romantic retreat or a fabulous group get away. With outdoor hot tubs, private beaches, rowing boats, fire pits and stunning views over the lake - each log house offers up a truly unforgettable stay.

The eight beautiful eco-friendly log houses all come from Finland and guarantee a cool space in summer whilst still being wonderfully cosy in winter. The cabins offer up a gloriously tranquil escape - with views over the lake and its array of coves and islands. And each comes with its own private beach, hot tub, rowing boat, and fire pit.You may even be lucky enough to spot the resident wild otter family. The largest house (Mayo Landing) boasts a beautiful heated pool and a spectacular covered veranda.

Inside the log houses you’ll discover luxurious interiors bursting with character. Each house has been beautifully styled with antique furniture, unique artwork, fully equipped kitchens, luxurious bedrooms and elegant bathrooms. With gorgeous finishing touches, luxury linens and impeccable attention to detail you’ll need for nothing. Browse the well stocked book shelves or enjoy a film on the flatscreen TV. And of course no Finnish log house would be complete without a wood burning stove to relax in front of.

Outside you can rest on your private beach, hop into the hot tub at sunset, head out onto the lake for some otter spotting or fishing - or make the kids’ day with some marshmallow toasting over the open fire. Being on a private nature reserve, it’s the ideal location to totally reconnect - just don’t forget your binoculars

Onsite there is plenty to get involved with - explore the 2.5 mile nature trail, go wild swimming in the spring-fed clear lake, go fishing or arrange an epic game of rounders on the private playing field. You can even book spa treatments to enjoy from the comfort of your own lake cabin. Bliss.

Off-site, there is the gorgeous surrounding area of The Cotswolds to discover. With a whole host of pretty villages, plenty of fabulous places to eat out and idyllic rolling hills - it’s a glorious place to get out and explore. The closest town fortuitously happens to be Cirencester, the ‘capital of the Cotswolds’. Here you’ll find boutique shops, gorgeous architecture and plenty of cafes and delis all nestled within its wonderfully narrow streets. And if you’re lucky enough to be there on a Monday or Friday, you’ll also be treated to its weekly markets.
