Escape to the enchanting Forest of Dean and relax in luxury at Resilient Woodlands Retreat. Our two gorgeous cabins have been lovingly crafted to ensure you have everything you need to rest, recuperate and really make the most out of your getaway to nature. Each cabin has a master bedroom with woodland views. Enjoy a super-comfy night’s sleep in the king size bed, then wake up to a hot cuppa on the deck and breathe in the peaceful surroundings.
After a day’s exploring, soak under the stars in the spacious Kurami wood-fired hot tub. Or build yourself a little indoor fire in the wood burner and unwind with a glass of wine and a book. The quaint and cosy living area includes a futon sofa that easily converts into a double bed should you need space for up to four guests to sleep.
The well-equipped kitchen includes a microwave, induction hob and butler sink so you can cook up a feast after working up an appetite in the great outdoors. Meals can be enjoyed at the indoor dining table or alfresco on your own private covered deck. Be sure to add a Weber BBQ hire to your booking if you fancy your dinner grilled over some hot charcoal.
Both cabins also include modern wet-room-style bathrooms, with full-sized shower units, sinks, large mirrors, and flushing toilets.
When it comes to venturing out, you’ll find some amazing experiences nearby, including stunning woodland walks right on the doorstep. Further afield lies the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which boasts yet more forest trails and quaint villages to explore. The nearby rivers Wye and Severn offer river walks, fishing and wild swimming.
If you’ve little ones in tow, don’t miss Puzzlewood (15 mins by car), an otherworldly ancient woodland and popular filming location. Or head to Beechenhurst Lodge (20 mins by car), where you can enjoy the various cycle/walking/sculpture/activity trails or a treetop adventure at Go Ape.
The nearby village of Woolaston (five mins by car) has a village store for the basics and the larger towns of Lydney and Chepstow (both 15 mins by car) have all the shops and amenities you’ll need to stock up for your stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at the woodlands cabin. It was the perfect place to switch off and enjoy nature with out two dogs, even provided dog bowls and beds. The owners made sure everything you need is available from arrival. Would definitely come back

We had an absolute dream 4 night stay in the coppice cabin. It is a magical place, and the cabin and hot tub are perfect. The owners were attentive to our needs, but allowed us privacy. We can't wait to go again.
