Dryhill Cottage has been beautifully refurbished and is nestled in a private and secluded spot close to the Cotswold Way. It would be a wonderful hideaway for romantic couples.
Relax in the light-filled kitchen and diner, a wonderfully social space with double doors and oak beams where the countryside provides a stunning backdrop. It's the perfect place to enjoy a welcome drink and you open the doors on a sunny day and take in the views from the patio.
The kitchen area is stylish and spacious with a Liebherr fridge-freezer and a breakfast bar where you can enjoy your first coffee or prepare a feast to share at the dining table in luxurious comfort. Comfy chairs in the corner provides a marvellous spot to read the morning papers and enjoy the view.
The adjoining lounge is perfect for cosy nights in. Beautifully presented with two big comfortable sofas facing a toasty inset wood burner where you can unwind after a day of exploring and enjoy a movie with snacks, or curl up with the latest thriller. A feature cotswold stone wall, pretty art on the walls and more beams overhead in the vaulted ceiling give the space an open, airy feel. And bi-fold doors allow you to open this room up on warmer nights.
You'll be tempted to let the wood burner lull you to sleep on the plush sofas, but you'd be missing out on the luxurious comfort of the super-king size bed with its top of the range mattress. The bedroom also has spectacular views through a large picture window and a TV .
If you decide to have an all night movie marathon by the wood burner, no one would blame you, and you'll find one of the lounge sofas opens into a very cosy Willow and Hall king bed
In the morning you can seek out the Sage espresso coffee maker or the Lavazza Pod machine if you prefer .Why not take it out to the gorgeous sun trapped patio, make yourself comfortable on the seating and start the day in the fresh air with magnificent views?
Once you've made your plans you can enjoy an invigorating power shower before heading out as fresh as a daisy.
To get a lay of the land you can enjoy a beautiful one and half hour circular walk from the cottage to the site of an iron age fort . The Crickley Hill country park is owned by the national trust and showcases the rewilding that is now in its thirtieth year. Enjoy the views the trees and wildflowers and maybe stop off at the local cafe en-route for a light refreshment.
Other local attractions include a round of golf , exploring classic Cotswold villages, ancient castles, fabulous restaurants and hidden pubs or head into Cheltenham Spa for the Jazz or Literary Festival.
