Nestled in an idyllic spot on the shores of a tranquil lake, this fabulous retreat offers supremely stylish interiors, spectacular views across the water and a private hot tub for an added slice of luxury.
The property boasts a unique combination of brick and timber construction, which is nicely accentuated by a white rendering that offers up some Mediterranean charm. The property was meticulously designed by Amy Davies, a finalist on Interior Design Master in 2022, so it is extremely pleasing on the eye.
When the weather’s warm you can settle in for an afternoon of socialising on the extensive decking. Get comfy on the outdoor seating and enjoy a drink as you take in the unobstructed lake views. The deck also houses the hot tub, meaning you can hop in and unwind in style with a glass of bubbles as the sun sets behind the lake.
Stepping inside, the open plan home is absolutely outstanding with a kitchen and living space that coexist in harmony with one another. This means that whether you’re relaxing on the super-comfy sofa or in the kitchen prepping dinner, you’re able to stay connected with the rest of the group. This space features a big, rustic dining table that comfortably seats six in front of the sliding glass doors that offer nice views of the lake. This is a great spot to dine together, though you may also wish to dine alfresco out on the deck when the weather permits.
The kitchen is modern and spacious, with a sleek kitchen island where you can perch with a drink and keep the designated chef company or sit with a morning coffee while planning the day ahead. With all the modern amenities you need, cooking breakfasts, lunches and dinners will be a breeze. Just off the dining area is the cosy lounge, which features a wall-mounted smart TV and a luxurious leather corner sofa.
When bed time beckons, there is one king size bedroom on the ground floor with a bathroom opposite that features a walk-in shower. This is ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The other two bedrooms sit upstairs. The master bedroom has a wonderful ensuite and also has a covered balcony overlooking the lake, should you wish to enjoy a peaceful morning coffee with a view. The second bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom and can either be set up as a super-king size bed or a twin room with two singles.
Maricor is also situated in the middle of Cotswold Water Park. That means that you and your loved ones have lots to do right on your doorstep. The park is home to 10 pubs, cafes and restaurants as well as lots of fantastic walks. There are also lots of opportunities for watersports out on the lake.

The home is ideally situated between the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so you’ve got miles of enchanting walks, lots of charming villages and plenty of inviting local pubs to explore.
