The Duck House is a lovely and spacious home for up to eight guests sitting on the edge of a peaceful, private lake. This marvellous home is ideal for groups of friends or family, with lots of room for you and your loved ones to spread out and unwind.
Gather in the social open plan living space, which allows the whole group to stay connected whatever it is they’re up to. Prepare a delicious feast in the modern kitchen, which is nicely equipped with modern appliances, making it a budding chef’s dream. Perch at the kitchen island with a drink in hand keeping the designated chef company as they chop away.
The open plan living space also features a cosy lounge area, with big comfy sofas and a wall-mounted TV that’s ideal for movie nights or box set marathons. Completing the space, is the grand dining area, where a big dining table comfortably seats your entire group. This is a wonderful spot for wholesome meals together that stretch into the night.
The open plan living space also has giant glass doors that let in plenty of natural light and open up directly onto the spacious, lakeside deck. Here you’ll find a modern BBQ and some lovely outdoor seating so you can enjoy a drink gazing out over the water and there’s also a fab outdoor dining table for alfresco lunches in the summer sunshine. The deck is also home to the hot tub, offering you a little slice of luxury where you can indulge in a soak as you take in your surroundings.
When night falls, Duck House has four fabulous bedrooms on offer, all of which guarantee a peaceful night’s sleep and provide delightful views out over the lake. One of the bedrooms also has a big spacious balcony, so you can enjoy your morning coffee in style.
The Duck House is also a great family destination with thoughtful child-friendly additions such as a cot, high chair, travel cot and children’s books and toys to keep little ones entertained.
Duck House sits on a peaceful private lake, which offers you the chance to relax by the water’s edge. Or, explore the Cotswold Water Park via its networks of walking and cycling trails or take advantage of a huge range of activities at your disposal, including kayaking, paddleboarding, open water swimming, sailing, fishing and windsurfing.
However, if you do venture out, you’re a stone’s throw from the Cotswolds. The Cotswolds offers a variety of activities for all interests. Explore charming villages like Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury, famous for their picturesque stone cottages. Enjoy scenic walks along the Cotswold Way or visit historic landmarks such as Sudeley Castle and Hidcote Manor Garden. Discover local markets, browse art galleries or indulge in a traditional cream tea.
