Berry Farm Barn can be found on Berry Farm, a working farm nestled in the heart of the Cotswold countryside. The imposing barn and adjoining buildings have been lovingly converted into a luxurious home sleeping up to 10 guests, stylishly designed and furnished using a sympathetic mixture of natural materials. The exterior retains the charm of creamy Cotswold stone and slate roofs while the interior combines character features with modern style and comfort.

The imposing lounge is a double height, airy space with a huge glass-fronted wall allowing the natural light to flood in. Exposed brickwork and wooden beams add a touch of rustic charm while the décor is modern with wooden flooring and an eclectic mix of fabrics, colours and textures. Artfully grouped sofas and a wood burning stove make this the perfect space to chill out together.

The ultra-modern kitchen is a study in sleek black units and glossy white surfaces and is fully equipped with everything you need to rustle up a banquet for your guests. The island unit with seating ensures that the conversation can continue while you cook, and two ovens will cater for plenty of diners.

The long, gallery dining room with its shabby chic wooden table and seating is a fittingly impressive setting for your culinary endeavours. One wall is lined with windows, bathing the space in sunlight by day or creating a cosy, intimate area by night.

Four bedrooms provide a variety of sleeping options, with two king size bedrooms and two rooms that can either be configured as super-kings or as twins with two single beds. Two are ensuite rooms plus there is an additional bathroom. You will also find a double bed settee on the mezzanine level overlooking the lounge. The bedrooms are stylishly decorated with soft, sumptuous fabrics combining texture, patterns and colour to create a boutique ambience. The bathrooms are spacious, light and modern with stacks of fluffy white towels and the master bedroom features its own bathtub for that extra special touch of luxury.

At the front of the barn, you will find a large, private patio area, immaculately landscaped and fully enclosed creating a secluded courtyard. A large, wooden dining table and chairs is the perfect place to chill out with your friends on a sunny afternoon, enjoying a jug or two of Pimm’s or a relaxed BBQ. There is a further comfortable seating area which also features a hot tub where you can ease any aching muscles after a day of walking in the idyllic countryside.

If you can bear to leave the soothing bubbles of the hot tub you will find a wealth of fascinating places to visit and activities to enjoy. Cirencester, with its excellent range of shops, restaurants and bars is only five miles away, and the local centres of Cheltenham, Gloucester, Oxford, Swindon, Bath and Bristol are nearby too. The surrounding countryside has many excellent rides and walks and whether your preference is for high octane mechanised water sports or the more gentle and sedate wind or oar powered sports, you’re sure to find the perfect pastime!
