On the edges of sweeping Salisbury Plain, this large cottage is homely and comfortable yet stylish and luxurious, ideal for larger groups keen to gather, relax and have fun. This lovely property has calming views across the Plain, a wonderful private outdoor space and, despite its generous size, a cosy cottage atmosphere.
On arrival, guests can head into the large farmhouse-style kitchen with wooden floorboards, a modern range oven and a Belfast-style sink adding character to this lovely, bright space. Take replenishing mugs of tea to the large wooden dining table, where cosy window seats provide relaxed seating with lovely scenes out over the lush garden. Full of modern conveniences, creating meals for the masses is made easy, and delicious dinners will surely continue late into the evening.
A homely, welcoming living area beckons tired legs fatigued from days hiking the Plain, and weary wanderers can relax in front of the woodburning fire, making themselves at home on the comfy sofas and armchairs. This area makes a great space to congregate after dinner, alternatively head the few steps away from cottage to Trailhead Barn, a separate games room with its own wood burner and outdoor fire pit that has a dartboard and an array of games for you to enjoy.
Step outside into the beautiful gardens and relax among the sounds of the countryside. Relax in the hot tub and alternate between the warm bubbling waters and icy plunge pool. There is also a wet and dry sauna barn for more relaxation and those feeling more active can enjoy a game of croquet or bocce on the designated lawns.
Whether hanging out at the cottage relaxing, or exploring the historic local area, tired heads will rest easy in the stunning bedrooms. Hunker down amongst the thick duvets and crisp linens and wake to wonderful views of the pretty surroundings. Throw open the windows and sip the first coffee of the day accompanied by wild birdsong. Each of the luxurious bedrooms has an ensuite steam shower bathroom.
Hillside Cottage is in an enviable location, with Salisbury Plain on the doorstep and ancient Stone Henge and the beautiful city of Bath just a short drive away. For nights out, away from the kitchen, The Three Daggers pub and brewery is a few steps from the cottage.

The cost includes the exclusive use of Hillside Cottage's own sauna, steam room, hot tub and cold plunge pool and the separate Trailhead Cabin and firepit.
There is a minimum of a two night stay at Hillside Cottage - we know you'll want to stay longer!
Prices range from £1000-£1,500 per night Sun-Thurs, and from £1600 Fri-Sat. However please note that these prices are also effected by seasonally busier times.
