• The swimming pool, therapy room and cinema are all shared facilities with the other guest house on the farm, however, you’ll be able to book private sessions at each.

Relax in luxury in the heart of the Somerset countryside in these two lovely properties, a short drive from the historic city of Bath. Jack's Barn and Deerleap, situated on Lilycombe Farm, may be hired separately, or together. With shared facilities including a cinema and swimming pool, it is the perfect spot for groups hoping to holiday together while retaining space and privacy.

Jack's Barn is the larger of the two. Enter into the impressive double height hall and through to the lovely modern kitchen/diner. It's fully-equipped to cater for big groups with an extra large fridge and two Miele dishwashers. The wooden dining table can sit up to 22 people, making it a great location for celebratory dinners with the whole gang.

The lovely sitting room has a wood burner and large, comfy sofas ready to sink into. Patio doors open out onto the spacious, lawned, garden and the terrace has some comfy garden furniture. Sit back and enjoy the outdoors while sipping drinks and watching the youngsters play.

When the party is over and it's time for bed, there are five luxurious bedrooms for choose from, three of which are ensuite. All have king size beds, which may be configured as twins for added flexibility, and are dressed with crisp linens. The chilled environment offers guests a quiet night's sleep.

Smaller groups will love Deerleap which is both luxurious and cosy, elegant and full of character. The main living space has a wonderful stone fireplace and is a fantastic place for guests to relax while enjoying all the modern comforts. The open plan downstairs area is a lovely space with a well-equipped modern kitchen and circular dining table to enjoy lengthy brunches while taking in the views of the garden.

Patio doors open out onto the private terrace and garden, which is the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink before meeting up with the rest of the crew for dinner. Both bedrooms are ensuite and have beautiful beds with quality mattresses, linens and snuggly duvets.

There are plenty of hikes which can be enjoyed from the farm and it is close to Bath for history and shopping fans alike. A local pub, The Litton, is just five minutes away. It's family friendly and has a good pub menu. The nearby The Ring O' Bells, is another good option and has great food and a large garden.
