This marvellously renovated three-story farmhouse in Somerset offers large groups a revitalising escape for gatherings, celebrations and special occasions. With a large living room, a beautiful cottage-style dining space and a number of wonderful bedrooms on offer, Bath House promises an unforgettable experience, embodying the essence of Somerset's charm.
After you’ve selected a room and dropped your bags off be sure to relax in the spacious living room with loved ones, unwinding in front of the large inglenook fireplace. And come the evening, the big TV is there should you wish to enjoy a movie night with your friends. This is also a great place to simply settle in with a glass of wine and catch up with friends and family long into the night.
The beautiful and well-appointed kitchen has all you need to whip up delicious meals during your stay, and you can enjoy them around the impressive oak dining table, which doubles up as a great social space thanks to the rustic charm of the room and the cosy wood-burning fireplace at one end. For more casual breakfasts or a morning cuppa, the kitchen also has a breakfast bar, which is also a great spot to sit with a drink and keep the designated chef company.
When the weather’s nice be sure to open the French doors to the enchanting courtyard and garden, which has a fountain and fireplace, perfect for alfresco dining at sunset. You’ll love spending time out here in the summer and you can wrap yourself in a blanket and sit by the flames stargazing once the sun has set.
When bedtime beckons, retreat to one of six delightful bedrooms, including family rooms, all offering ample storage and super-comfy beds. The bedrooms all share two large family bathrooms with showers and baths.
When it comes to filling your days you’ll be spoiled for choice. If you wish to relax and unwind at Bath House there are lots of places for you to settle in with a good book or challenge a loved one to a board game. And should you wish to venture out and explore, there are plenty of tranquil village walks and scenic strolls nearby. The surrounding countryside offers ample opportunities for rambling adventures, wildlife spotting and relaxing amidst Somerset's natural beauty.
