This beautiful Grade II listed property is stunning in its own right - bursting with character and complemented perfectly with calm, unfussy interiors. Add to this a shorefront location in Lyme Regis, one of the most stunning seaside towns on the Jurassic Coast, and you have the perfect holiday escape.
Set over three floors, this historical building is wonderfully welcoming and bursting with charm. On the ground floor there is a light and airy lounge with large comfortable sofas, wooden floors and a TV with DVD player. With dazzling views and a cosy feel, it’s the perfect place to relax with your friends or family. There is also access to a small balcony with seating. And with panoramic views over Lyme Bay, it’s an idyllic spot to watch the world go by.
The kitchen is on the first floor and is a sublimely traditional affair - with hand-painted wooden units, Belfast sink and a lovely Aga. And with a large dining table situated next to the exquisite bay window - it’s truly the heart of the home. The views will make the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
There are five bedrooms arranged over the top two floors, three double bedrooms, a single and a room with bunk beds. The layout lends itself to families or close friends, with some rooms interconnecting. All of the rooms boast crisp linen, unique furnishings and lovely textiles. And you are guaranteed to have stunning views - be it of the seafront or garden.
There are two traditional bathrooms - one on the ground floor and one on the third floor. And access to the garden is from the second floor.
Situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and part of the UNESCO World heritage site, Lyme Regis is a sublime location. And being located right on the seafront, you can’t get a better location. Charter a fishing boat from the harbour, go fossil hunting or take a walk on the spectacular South West coastal path. Or, for something more leisurely, there are a plethora of pubs and restaurants in the town just waiting to be discovered.
