Perched in the northeast corner of the New Forest, in beautiful mature woodland and rolling countryside, your luxury shepherd’s hut is your dream tranquil escape in Wiltshire.
As you step into your shepherd’s hut, you’re greeted by a modern take on a traditional classic. Beautifully designed and handmade in Dorset, they feature stylish country interiors, solid oak flooring, traditional window shutters, fully-equipped kitchens with ceramic sinks, elegant bathrooms with a roll-top bath and shower, and all the modern luxuries you could need for a romantic getaway or a family retreat. Neutral tones and a huge skylight make for a light and airy space that invites you to slow down and reconnect with the natural world.
Each hut is bespoke and sleeps up to four people in utmost comfort. At one end of the hut, there’s a large double bed that looks directly out of a huge skylight to watch the stars as you drift off. A thick, luxury mattress with plush bedding and plenty of throws for those cold nights ensures you get a cosy night’s sleep. For the little ones, the huts have an ultra-cosy bunk bed that converts to your seating for the day, with a folding top bunk that folds up against the wall.
Your kitchenette contains everything you need to feed hungry tummies including a fridge, oven, dual gas hob and your everyday appliances. There’s nothing quite like the smell in the morning of fresh coffee and breakfast that signals the dawn of a new day. On those hot days, take your breakfast out to the private patio with outdoor furniture to dine alfresco. When the evening comes, fire up the BBQ and sink into your private hot tub for a glass of fizz as the sun goes down.
Green Hill Farm has plenty to offer including nature walks, table tennis, petanque, a fishing lake and plenty of green space. Seasonal bars and restaurants, bicycle hire, outdoor activities and more keep the whole family entertained. For a true sense of the forest, the Bolderwood Radnor Trail takes you through ancient and ornamental woodland, passing gorgeous hardwood trees dating back to the 19th century. Stop by the Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary to see the five different types of deer that call the New Forest home.
