Perched in the northeast corner of the New Forest, in beautiful mature woodland and rolling countryside, your luxury safari tent is your dream family escape in Wiltshire. Sink into your private wood-fired hot tub, wander woodland trails and nature walks, gaze at starlit skies and wake up to the sights and sounds of nature and the famous New Forest ponies.
The tents have space for up to six guests (four adults and two children) in one double bedroom, one twin bed and one cabin bed that's ideal for two kids. On top of this you also have a private terrace with a wood-fired hot tub and an outdoor seating area for alfresco dining, ensuring you can enjoy true glamping in style. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the New Forest, drift off to the sounds of the wind in the trees and awake to the morning chorus.
Upon entering your safari tent, your eyes will explore the open-plan living area and fully-equipped kitchen, taking in the neutral tones and modern touches that bring the outdoors in. Comfortable, thick sofas sit around a large smart TV and woodburning stove which is ideal for family get togethers or movie nights with friends. In the summer months, head to your private terrace to dine alfresco, take a dip in the hot tub and enjoy your evening. On those chillier nights, the large dining room table and chairs have enough space for the whole family whether it’s sharing a meal or playing board games.
As the night draws in make your way to one of the two double bedrooms or the twin room. Thick, luxury mattresses adorned with soft bedding and welcoming throws guarantee a perfect night’s sleep under the gentle rustling of a warm, cosy canvas tent. As the sun rises, wake to the peaceful calm of the New Forest and use the separate bathroom and shower room to refresh and recharge for the day ahead.
Green Hill Farm has plenty for kids and adults alike to fill their days including nature walks, table tennis, petanque, a fishing lake and plenty of green space. Seasonal bars, restaurants, bike hire, Segways and more keep the whole family entertained. Further afield, the gorgeous Lyndhurst Heath features a three-and-a-half mile circular walk. Afterwards, the pup-friendly Rockingham Arms is only a short walk from your safari tent. For a true sense of the forest, the Bolderwood Radnor Trail takes you through ancient and ornamental woodland, passing gorgeous hardwood trees dating back to the 19th century.
