A safari experience is closer than you think at Brocklands Farm on the South Downs National Park, where you can enjoy sleeping out in one of only 2 luxury safari tents, with vast views and unfettered access to nature. Set in a spacious field, planted with native grasses that are a magnet for birds and other wildlife, you'll find plenty of creatures to spot and space to run and explore.
In each spacious safari tent, designed to let in the light and the beautiful views that surround you, you'll find a double bedroom with king-sized bed, a twin bedroom and a double cabin bed, to suit up to six guests. Each bed is made with luxurious cotton bed linen and a dual tog duvet to cater for any temperature. A sweet bathroom cabin provides a toilet, basin and luxury shower and a wood burner to keep you toasty. Towels, shower gel and other essentials are all provided.
A wood-burning range is the centre piece of the living area, featuring a large hob top and oven for cooking. Solar-powered fairy lights decorate the room, with paraffin lamps and candle lanterns available, to ensure you’re never left in the dark. There is also a gas ring for brewing up that essential early morning cuppa. The kitchen comes fully equipped for cooking up a feast, and there is even a wee solar fridge to keep your milk and wine nice and cool.
Outside, there’s a sofa, chairs and a table so you can watch the sunset in comfort and style, with stunning views over the Meon Valley. There's even a fire pit for cooking al fresco, or simply toasting marshmallows. As well as plenty of open space, there is also an area of woodland, perfect for exploring, building dens and collecting wood for the campfire. From the farm, take the small paths through the fields of the Hampshire countryside, or follow the Meon Valley Trail or the South Downs Way, for beautiful walks and cycling opportunities. You can even hire bikes from a neighbouring farm.
