Parbola Holiday Park is set in 16 acres of tranquil woodland close to St Ives in Cornwall. Offering a selection of fabulous safari tents to provide an 'Out-of-Africa' vibe but with all the luxuries of home, these gorgeous glamping tents are also dog friendly and would be perfect for up to four adults, two children and two furry friends.
These fabulous Safari tents are more like houses with soft walls and when you step inside you'll be delighted by the level of home comfort provided. Theses state-of-the-art brand new holiday homes have wood interiors and canvas walls, blending cabin and glamping seamlessly.
There are two bedrooms, one with a double and one with a twin and a camping bed for the kids. Beds are made up with fresh linen for your arrival and promise a peaceful night's slumber before the excitement begins.
A hand-made rustic kitchenette comes fully equipped with a four ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and plenty of crockery for family feasts and big breakfasts which you can enjoy together at the large six-seater dining table. There's nothing quite like waking up in nature with the smell of freshly brewed coffee to lure you from your bed. On a sunny morning you can take your breakfast out to the covered decking, settle into the comfy rattan furniture and enjoy the fresh air whilst you plan your day.
If it's a chilly day you can make yourself very cosy in the large lounge where you'll find a TV, comfy sofa seating and a wonderful wood burner that also doubles as an oven. A delightful place to snuggle up under a blanket and drink some wine after a big muddy walk with the pooches!
The indoor bathroom is what separates the campers from the glampers and you can enjoy a long hot shower in the warmth before heading out on your adventures, even if that adventure just takes you out to the deck and the electric hot tub. Bob around in the bubbles with the sound of the forest around and the canopy of trees above. What a wonderful way to unwind.
Parbola Holiday Park has so much to offer, so you (and your pooch) will be spoiled for choice. Whether you choose to immerse yourself in 'Poldark' country, peruse the independent shops in St Ives or soak up the rays at Gwithian Beach, there's something for everyone. Within the camping grounds you'll find a heated pool which is open throughout the summer, mini-golf, pop up food trucks, a book exchange where you can grab the latest thriller, a fantastic agility course for dogs and plenty of wonderful walks.
With world class surf destinations, endless incredible independent eateries and a charming harbour port, St. Ives is the ultimate day trip and only a 25-minute drive away from camp.
