Wrinklers Wood Safari Tents offer couples an idyllic, romantic break in the Cornish countryside, just a short drive from some delightful beaches. Each of these safari tents offers a real treat in deluxe glamping and they both come with their own private hot tub for an added slice of luxury.
Whether you and your loved one are on the hunt for a weekend break to a romantic getaway or something for all the family, these safari tents offer all the creature comforts that you need providing a real home from home.
The two tents, Twiga and Tembo, are both furnished with an eclectic mix of reclaimed pieces and African inspired decor. Both tents are fully insulated, to ensure you remain toasty and warm throughout your stay, yet both can stay nice and cool in the summer months. There’s even a log burner that you can light when the wind is blowing outside, adding to the cosiness of your stay.
The large living space in both tents features a comfy sofa and chairs as well as a generous dining table that makes meal times a joy. You can hunker down in the living room with a good book and a cup of tea or spend evenings chatting with a nice bottle of something delicious.
The fully equipped kitchen area has a Belfast sink, a fridge and a two-ring gas stove and oven, ensuring you can whip up hearty breakfasts and delicious meals throughout your stay. You even have a large wood burning range that you can use for cooking pizzas!
Stepping outside you can relax on your deck or stretch out on the grass in the sunshine. And, when the sun sets, hop into your hot tub and enjoy a relaxing evening, gazing up at the stars above.
If you wish to venture out and explore then be sure to hire bikes from Wrinklers Wood. This allows you to enjoy the winding paths, trails and bridleways around Mithian and St Agnes, staying away from the busy roads.
Beach lovers will enjoy the two National Trust beaches of Crantock Beach and Godrevey Beach, or one of the many other fabulous surf spots in the area.
The popular Eden Project is only a 50-minute drive from your treehouse and there are some great National Trust properties nearby too, including Trelissick Gardens which is only a 20-minute drive away.
When it comes to pubs, there are some great spots nearby, including the local, The Miners Arms in Mithian, which is a 30-minute walk from your treehouse and well worth a visit.

Leave a reviewWe stayed for four nights and didn’t want to leave. It was our favourite place we have ever stayed and we can’t wait to go back!! Tembo Safari tent is private, fabulous for the dog and the hot tub is just perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. There terrace is a lovely sun trap and is lovely to sit out and watch the birds. The bed is so comfortable and the shower is great. It’s just perfect!!!

We stayed here from Friday to Sunday and had an absolutely amazing time! The tent was fantastic, the hosts had literally thought of everything. It was so clean and luxurious and the wood fired hot tub was just what we needed to wind down! Fantastic beaches and coves Very close by which of course our dog absolutely loved! That's another fantastic thing was that the whole place was so dog friendly, she absolutely loved her little holiday! I'd recommend to anyone. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

One of the best holidays we’ve had in a while! This place is magical and reminds you what true holidays should be like. Perfect location to visit all the beautiful places in Cornwall, yet the best part was coming back to relax in the hot tub, enjoy nature and cook in the fire grill. The tent is equipped with all you need and James is 100% available for any queries. Super recommended!
