The Royal Garden Suite is part of the grand Hermitage Estate, set on the banks of the River Lune in a beautiful part of Lancashire's countryside. This grand suite of rooms, with its elegant interiors, peaceful outdoor spaces and beautiful views, is the perfect spot to relax in plenty of luxury. After a picnic down by the river or a day exploring the nearby city of Lancaster, you'll be able to enjoy a relaxing dip in the hot tub overlooking the estate's pretty gardens while listening to the sounds of the river flowing by.
Step inside and you'll find the interior still has much of its original Victorian grandeur. High ceilings, ornate cornices, chandeliers and big windows create a sense of elegance and space. The large living room is the perfect place to do a bit of entertaining. Elegant sofas are set in front of a beautiful fireplace with a piano in the corner in case anyone wants to try out a tune.
Move through to the kitchen and you'll find a more contemporary space equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and a large island, perfect for giving the chef a hand with the dinner preparations. The dining table is set in a large bay window overlooking the gardens, providing a pretty backdrop for your meals. The two spacious double bedrooms are both beautifully decorated, continuing the feel of luxury and elegance. They both have ensuite bathrooms and will be waiting for you with crisp white sheets and fluffy towels.
Outside, you'll find a lovely garden area with a BBQ and an outdoor dining table, perfect for sunny afternoons. There's also some comfy seating, a swing chair and a hot tub where you can relax with a glass of something in the evenings. You'll also be able to wander through the estate's beautiful gardens, down to the River Lune and relax by the water or have a go at fishing.
There's also plenty of exploring to be done beyond the estate. Head off with a picnic for a stroll along the river or hop in the car and drive to the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales for a more challenging hike. The coast is also nearby with Morecambe's sandy beach within easy reach and a beautiful stretch of coastal path to explore. For a bit of culture, head into the nearby city of Lancaster to visit its historic castle, charming museums and vibrant arts scene.
