Set on a private estate in Lancashire's beautiful countryside, Thomas Gray is a cosy hideaway for families or groups of friends. The estate is set within a sharp bend of the River Lune, with the sound of the water flowing by and beautiful views of the surrounding natural landscape. The cottage makes a great bolthole for exploring this beautiful part of the country with the beach a short drive away and the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales both within easy reach. After a day of exploring, relax in the hot tub, unwind in the games room or simply put your feet up in front of the log burner in the living room.
Step inside this pretty stone cottage and you'll find a warm and welcoming interior decorated in a cosy, contemporary style. There are three bedrooms, one with a luxurious king size bed and two twin rooms. They're all decorated in relaxing tones, promising a good night's sleep and they all have their own seating areas and TVs in case you fancy a bit of downtime with a movie or a book.
There's a fully equipped kitchen where you will find everything you'll need and a couple of extra features such as a warming drawer, an integrated coffee machine and a steam oven in addition to the standard oven. There's a dining table with plenty of space for everyone to gather and enjoy a meal together. After dinner, head through to the comfortable living room with its big sofas, where you can snuggle up and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. You might prefer to challenge the family to a pool tournament or to a table football or air hockey match. There's also an arcade machine with hundreds of games for one or two players.
Head outside to find the private terrace where you can enjoy a sunny afternoon cooking on the BBQ and relaxing in the hot tub. You can also stroll through the estate's beautiful gardens and down to the edge of the river, the perfect spot for a picnic.
If you fancy heading out to do a bit of exploring, there's plenty to see and do in the area. The bustling city of Lancaster is nearby with its many historic sites including its magnificent medieval castle. Head to the coast for a day at the beach or for a walk along the picturesque coastline. It's also just a short drive to the stunning Lake District and the beautiful landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales, both offering plenty in the way of outdoor activities.
