Quirky and unique meets luxury and style at Middleton Towers. Perched on the beautiful Morecambe Bay with views over the Irish Sea, it’s just minutes from the ancient city of Lancaster. With space for 16 guests across five bedrooms, there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the shared indoor pool with sauna, spa and gym facilities, the games room, the large outdoor space and the cosy interiors. It’s the perfect place for large groups to relax, recharge and reconnect.
As you approach Middleton Towers, you can’t help but notice the unique, circular tower that stands out against the sky and gives a nod to what’s inside. As you enter, you’re greeted with a truly unique space. Bare brick, natural wooden floors and exposed beams are contrasted with soft, warm lighting and neutral tones which help bring the outdoors in. The open-plan kitchen, living and dining area is the heart of the home. Fully equipped with everything you need to feed a large group on the huge dining table, it’s perfect for reconnecting with loved ones.
As you move through the space, you come to a relaxing and inviting living area featuring plush sofas, a large smart TV and a rustic wood burner that bathes the room in a calming, cosy glow. When you’re not curled up under a blanket watching a film, the games room is the perfect place to have some fun. Featuring a pool table, beer pong and retro arcade games, there’s fun for the whole family. In the summer months, the large, secure garden is perfect for kids (or our furry family members) to safely run around and let off some steam. With direct views over Morecambe Bay, why not dine alfresco as the sun sets over the horizon? As the temperature drops, sink into your private, outdoor hot tub with a glass of something fizzy.
Guests staying at Middleton Towers also have access to their very own shisha lounge, bar and lookout area where they can sit and take in the view. The ground floor is the shisha lounge, the middle floor is the bar and the top floor is an open top viewing area with a firepit.
As the evening draws to a close, it’s time to head to one of the five bedrooms featuring a max of single, double and king size beds - and in one instance, a slide! A mixture of shared and ensuite bathrooms feature luxury styling, roll-top baths, walk-in showers and luxury fittings. For those who need to stay connected, a small desk is perfect for answering the odd email.
Nestled minutes from the ancient city of Lancaster and directly on the beaches of Morecambe Bay, there’s no shortage of things to do. In the warmer months, swim in the sea or top up your tan on the beach. When the colder months bring howling winds and cutting rain, set yourself up in a cosy local pub or cafe for a warming meal.
The stunning Lake District National Park and Yorkshire Dales National Park are both easily accessible, as is the Forest of Bowland National Landscape, all of which are all perfect for walking, cycling and riding. Further afield, the bustling cities of Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds offer a wide variety of shopping, nightlife and culture.
