Perched on private land in the stunning landscapes of rural Lancashire, Connie Cabin and Fern Cabin and Blossom Cabin are a group of luxury buildings, finished internally to a high standard and available to rent on a self-catered basis. With each boasting everything you could need for a romantic, social or family time away, Connie Blossom and Fern Cabin are the ultimate accommodation for outdoors enthusiasts looking to spend time in a quirky yet luxurious home away from home.
Although it can easily fit up to four adults, Fern Cabin is popular with couples looking for a romantic trip. With high ceilings, a full kitchen, a hot tub and Smart TV, it really does combine the comforts of the twenty first century with a rugged, rural aesthetic. Electric heaters will keep you cosy, and featuring both an indoors breakfast bar and outside dining furniture, Fern Cabin is ultra-romantic all year round, whether you're watching the sun set with a bottle of wine in the garden during the summer months or curled up inside watching a movie, looking out at the winter landscape.
Sharing many of the same high-end amenities, Connie Cabin is a more spacious structure, designed with adventurous families in mind. Up to four adults and two children can be comfortably accommodated in Connie Cabin using a sofa bed and two full bedrooms, while there is of course an impressive kitchen, and tiled wet room with high pressure hot water. A standout feature is the hot-tub, the perfect way to unwind after a long day wandering the pretty rural surroundings. Although the property benefits from a wood-burning stove, there is also a modern electric heater system to keep you cosy during the colder months.
Each of the cabins sits in its own private outdoors space, and beyond that you'll find the wild, rural stretches of Lancashire which make this region so popular with tourists and locals alike. The surrounding area is a hive of quirky festivals and celebrations throughout the year, from traditional farm shows to ice cream festivals, coffee feasts and ale celebrations.
Despite the feeling of tranquility and remoteness, you're within easy reach of great pubs and restaurants too, from formal, fine-dining establishments to more casual family spots. The Cartford Inn is a truly extraordinary gastropub, serving up traditional Lancashire fare with a distinct French twist in an authentic and charming space. With its emphasis on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, the food is excellent. Twelve in Marsh Mill village is a long-standing fixture, with an award-winning menu and fantastic cocktails in an urbane space of exposed bricks and girders, with graffiti artwork. The cabins are also just twenty minutes from the historic attractions of Lancaster, and thirty five from Blackpool.
