The two award-winning Lodges are set in the heart of rural Lancashire and have unforgettable views of the flourishing landscape. Overlooking the crystal waters of the rugged Jackdaw Quarry, they each have stunning panoramas and a five-star finish. The Yorkshire Dales and Lake District can be enjoyed from afar, along with captivating sunsets over the beautiful Morecambe shores. With foxes, jackdaws and shimmering trout, the quarry has an abundance of magnificent wildlife.
The two eco-lodges have a contemporary décor with stylish furnishings and a superior quality. Their attention to detail is second to none and includes thoughtful touches and luxury additions. Underfloor heating is joined by ambient lighting, while designer furniture joins modern technology. Interesting books, board games and DVDs can be found, along with a HD TV and PS4 console.
Jackdaw Quarry Lodge is the quirkier of the two and has an upside-down design with incredible views. Cut into the side of the jagged cliff face, it has a far-reaching outlook across the azure lake waters. The first floor living area is spacious and calm with floor-to-ceiling windows and a glass-fronted deck. Its open plan layout makes it perfect for entertaining and includes sumptuous seats and a designer kitchen-dining area. The three double bedrooms are split across the two floors and have two shared bathrooms and an exquisite finish. The two larger rooms can be found on the ground floor and have access to an exclusive balcony with mesmerising vistas.
Jackdaw Quarry Heights is of equal stature and sits serenely upon the rocky cliff tops. Its lake-view, living area has comfortable sofas along with a traditional dining table and a bespoke kitchen. Doors lead out onto the glass-fronted deck which has spectacular views and an al-fresco dining area. Three luxurious bedrooms can be found split across the two floors and include two en-suite doubles and a lovely twin room. The two first floor doubles have access to a private balcony which has a spell-binding spot overlooking the sparkling waters. A lavish four poster bed can also be found in the master room making it an ideal place for a morning lie-in.
Beyond the lodges there is plenty to see and do, including country walks, scuba diving and gentle bike rides. The Yorkshire Dales and Lake District are just a short drive away, along with the rustic Pennine Bridleway and its ancient packhorse trails. With endless opportunities to soak up the landscape, you can indulge in all sorts of outdoor activities. For a more relaxed time, you can explore nearby Carnforth before gazing out over the quarry waters.
