Lounge by the open fireplace with a glass of wine and your loved one, or relax in the hammock as you enjoy a book and the marvellous view. Or why not enjoy spending time in the luxurious, wood-fired hot tub with a glass of bubbly?
The roadhouse has a nice living space that features a comfy sofa and a fireplace, as well as a fully functional kitchen that has everything you need to cook up a storm. There’s also a BBQ for those of you who wish to partake in some al fresco cooking and a firepit to keep you toasty long into the night. Dine inside or out, depending on the weather, before getting a great night’s sleep in the super-comfy king sized bed. The property also has a bathroom that has a shower, compost loo, sink and a door to the outside decking.
Outside is where the roundhouse really shines. You can enjoy spectacular views of the Lake District fells, the Yorkshire Dales and Morecambe Bay, all whilst feeling at one with nature. The property has herb planters and its own mini allotment, and the owners have also planted fruit trees and edible hedges.
Situated in South Lakeland, Kelker Well Roundhouse is an ideal holiday home for any lovers of the great outdoors. You are literally on the edge of the Lakes, meaning you have miles and miles of marvellous scenery to explore on foot, on bike or on horseback. You also have fantastic access to the Yorkshire Dales, and you’re only 20 minutes from Arnside and the inspiring Morecambe Bay. The Roundhouse has direct access to Hutton Roof Crags (a SSSI nature reserve) and the Limestone Link that leads onto Newbiggin Crags. The area is fantastic for walking, mountain biking, climbing and wildlife watching. There are spectacular limestone pavements to explore and perfect sunset views to the estuary.
