Running parallel with the golf course itself, The Lodges at Feldon Valley are twenty five ultra-modern suites finished internally to a high standard. In England’s Cotswolds region, an area long celebrated for its beauty and unspoiled charm, The Lodges at Feldon Valley offer versatile accommodation for individuals, couples, and groups of friends or family members looking to spend some no-stress time in a gorgeous setting.
Thirteen of the Feldon Valley suites are situated in the two storey main lodge, a building with sweeping views of the golf course, which also contains an excellent bar serving both hot drinks and alcoholic beverages. The eight Standard rooms in the main lodge boast king sized beds which can be made up as twin singles, as well as tea and coffee making facilities, and even homemade biscuits. Towels and robes are provided for the duration of your stay, and guests can expect a daily maid service.
Two of these standard rooms are entirely wheelchair accessible. Upstairs, overlooking the broad green golf course and neighbouring topography, three Superior Rooms enjoy the amenities of the Standard, with a more spacious layout which can even accommodate a baby cot, changing mat, and other necessities for parents travelling with younger children. With advance notice, these additional items can be provided. One of the main attractions of the Superior room is the stunning view afforded by the floor-to-ceiling picture window. An additional two rooms on this floor benefit from the same amenities, but come with fully furnished balconies; the perfect spot for ending the day with a glass of wine as you take in the famous Cotswolds sunset.
Down a raised timber walkway which runs on a curved path through the dappled woodlands, four freestanding lodges contain four South facing suites with private balconies, and eight north facing suites, all of which contain ample space for baby or infant cots, and all of which allow dogs. In addition to these suites, there is the Lodge Suite which comes with a kitchenette and full dining area, as well as a spacious interior. As well as being the only suite with self-catering options, it enjoys an expansive balcony and pull-out sofa bed, making it an ideal choice for families. In addition to the individual suites, combinations of lodges and rooms can be booked by larger groups.
Aside from hotel-quality accommodation and a first class golf course, one of the further appeals of The Lodges at Feldon Valley is the The Kitchen; the on site restaurant presided over by Michelin Star recipient head chef Darren Brown, which serves exquisite food with an emphasis on locally sourced provender. The attached bar is replete with remarkable local ales, a stellar wine list, and exceptional cocktails.
