Romantics and solo travellers seeking peace and tranquility will love this cosy woodland getaway. The Roundhouse is a pretty wooden circular cabin in the woods where guests can enjoy nature without compromising on comfort. It sleeps two guests, with space for an infant in an additional travel cot if required.
When you step inside this beautifully crafted home you will instantly notice the concentrical timber ceiling with its out-of-this-world observatory window. Jump on the king size wooden bed and marvel at this unique window to the sky which allows nighttime star gazing from the comfort of the cosy bed. The marvellous woodcraft continues with a soft wood floor, again carefully laid in a lovely circular pattern, as befits a roundhouse.
This is a spacious open plan interior with a kitchenette area which features a hob for making simple suppers and a cool box for keeping the goodies fresh and chilled. Light the candles, uncork the wine and enjoy a romantic meal at the solid wood dining table whilst enjoying the views through the multiple floor-to-ceiling windows which create a bright and welcoming atmosphere.
The Roundhouse sits amongst trees and has its own private outside area. Gather round the fire pit for cocoa and stories underneath the stars and, on lazy summer days, cook food on the hanging tripod BBQ and enjoy dinner al fresco.
Guests have their own private shower and compost toilet, set a few steps from the house. Water is hot and plentiful, smellies are organic and complimentary and towels large and fluffy.
This peaceful environment is perfect for those wanting to completely unwind. Take a stroll through the woods to the splendid viewing spot or spend days daydreaming by the fire. However, there is also plenty to do off site. A trip into historic Warwick is a delight with its Tudor streets, independent shops, famous castle and abundance of great pubs, restaurants and cafes. A little closer to The Roundhouse, The Joseph Arch and Granville Arms are two well-recommended pubs about one hour's walk from the property.

Leave a reviewGorgeous little round cabin in beautiful woods - so peaceful and stunning scenery over the back of the woods. Our golden retriever loved it, she was in squirrel heaven! Jonny and Anneli have created a beautiful, peaceful glamping site, gave us great recommendations for gorgeous pub food and kindly let us have a much later check-out on our last day as nobody else was coming in. The logburner is beautiful and cosy and the shower very hot and powerful. The perfect place to get away from it all and immerse yourself in nature, thank-you for such a wonderful weekend stay!
