With over 5,400 sq feet of space, this collection of carefully restored barns has enough room for your extended family and then some. While the Old Mill and the Byre are connected via a secret door, the Mill and Hayloft are adjacent, unconnected properties, perfect for those who like their privacy. From cosy sitting rooms with wood-burning stoves to a games room with table tennis, air hockey and a piano, plus a variety of bookable extras, an unforgettable holiday is guaranteed here.
The communal spaces include two Smart TV rooms with Sky Sports, Netflix and movie channels, ensuring no one misses out on bingeing their favourite series, watching the latest blockbuster or cheering on their favourite team. When you’d like a quiet moment, curl up with a good book in one of the sitting rooms and listen to the crackle of the fire.
At dinner time, you’ll find everything you need in the open-plan kitchen, complete with an Aga and double dishwasher. However, if you’d prefer to have a night off cooking, meal deliveries can be arranged in advance. On rainy days, pile into the games room. Enjoy a sing-song around the piano or challenge your loved ones to a competitive air hockey tournament.
In terms of sleeping arrangements, each bedroom in the Old Mill boasts ensuite bathrooms. The first and third bedrooms contain super-king size beds that can be separated into two singles upon request. Bedroom four is tucked away in the eaves, accessed via a bridge. It has less headroom than the other bedrooms, and you'll enter the bathroom through a low hatch, so it may be better suited for children.
In the Hayloft, three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, and the fourth is on a mezzanine level. Additionally, there are four bedrooms in the Byre. The super-king size bed in the second bedroom can be arranged as twin beds, while the singles in the fourth bedroom can be pushed together to form a super-king size double bed. Large bi-fold doors lead onto a private, south-facing courtyard where a hot tub beckons for moments of relaxation at the end of a busy day.
Nestled in Herefordshire, flanked by Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Shropshire on one side, and Wales on the other, this region boasts lush green fields, Hereford cattle, and abundant apple orchards. The landscape features rolling countryside, offering picturesque views and wonderful walking opportunities.
If you’re after a day out, the nearby towns of Kington, Leominster, Ludlow and Hereford each provide unique attractions. Or why not stay a bit closer to home and visit the serene rural village of Lyonshall, surrounded by charming timber-framed houses and the pretty farmland?
