Tucked away in a tranquil forest, this charming and rustic cabin is the perfect peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Sleeping up to four guests, this quaint stay is ideal for couples, friends and family getaways in the lovely Kent countryside. Crafted from salvaged wood and furnished with charming vintage pieces, this amazing cabin has all the essentials for a relaxing stay.
Inside, the property oozes rural charm, thanks to its beautiful wooden flooring, muted pastel colour palette and fabulous exposed beams. As you step inside you’ll feel as if you’ve entered another time.
Settle into the living area with a morning coffee or an evening tipple and get comfy on one of the two armchairs or the big sofa. This is a great place to chat the night away or tuck into a good book. The living area shares a space with the cabin’s dining table, which easily seats four and also doubles up as a workstation should you wish to catch up on some emails during your stay.
When it comes to meal prep, the cabin’s kitchenette has a microwave, gas hob, dishwasher and fridge, so you have plenty of options at your disposal. However, when the weather’s warm, you may want to step outside into your garden and grill up some delicious local produce on your charcoal BBQ! There's also a nice outdoor dining set in the garden, so you can enjoy a peaceful meal whilst taking in your beautiful surroundings.
Back inside, the cabin’s two bedrooms are equally rustic and charming, with their crooked walls, exposed beams and lovely furnishings. Each bedroom has been designed with comfort in mind, featuring duck-down duvets, cotton and linen bedding and Eve mattresses. The master has a double bed, while the second bedroom offers two single beds, with additional wardrobe space and a desk in the twin room. The bathroom is a serene space with a bath, shower and stylish terrazzo marble flooring.
When it comes to heading out to explore the area you’ve got some incredible pine forest trails on your doorstep that are perfect for hiking or biking. There are also plenty of National Trust properties nearby to explore, including Sissinghurst and Scotney Castle. For a change of scene, head to Rye, an ancient town filled with independent shops, or visit Rye Harbour Nature Reserve for coastal walks and stunning views of Camber Sands.
