PS1, originally constructed as a pumping station during World War 2 to transport fuel via undersea pipes to support the D-Day landings in France, has undergone a remarkable transformation. It now stands as a stunning designer beach house with two en-suite bedrooms.
The spacious open-plan living area is a highlight, featuring a fully equipped, contemporary kitchen, a generously sized dining table and comfortable seating gathered around a welcoming log fire. Sunlight streams in through five floor-to-ceiling windows, offering breathtaking views of the adjacent nature reserve right at your doorstep.
The master bedroom, accommodating two guests, boasts a king-size bed, a convenient walk-in wardrobe and an elegant ensuite bathroom complete with a bathtub, WC, and basin.
The second bedroom, featuring a king-size bed with two additional bunk beds, accommodates up to four occupants. It also offers a shared ensuite shower room that includes a shower, WC, and basin.
Notably, PS1 earned recognition when it was featured in Elle Decoration UK in September 2017.
Situated on a unique shingle spit that stretches three miles into the English Channel, the location provides a captivating backdrop for both sunrise and sunset enthusiasts. This idyllic setting is a photographer's dream and a haven for walkers, offering beauty in all weather conditions.
