Nestled in the breathtaking Kent countryside, the Red Cabin is a cosy treat with amazing scenic views and its own private sauna as well as a hot tub that doubles up as a plunge pool. Combining modern wellness facilities within a sustainable framework, this contemporary cabin embodies harmony with nature thanks to its sleek interior - you’ll find pared back surfaces, organic cotton and recycled fabrics throughout!
Red Cabin is the only accommodation on the farm offering plenty of privacy and was built using innovative building techniques and is almost entirely carbon neutral.
As you arrive you’ll be wowed by the scenery that surrounds you. Gaze out across rolling fields that stretch out as far as the eye can see. Then, step inside your cabin and light the log burner before settling in with a nice drink.
The cabin’s contemporary, Scandi-inspired living space is cosy and comfy, with huge windows that perfectly frame the view. There’s even a pair of binoculars available so you can spot wildlife from the comfort of the cabin. And if you want to put some tunes on whilst you unwind, there’s a bluetooth speaker for you to use during your stay.
At one end of the cabin is a nicely equipped, Scandi kitchenette where you can prepare delicious meals during your stay. When the weather’s warm be sure to dine alfresco on your peaceful deck whilst breathing in the fresh air and taking in the incredible views.
The Red Cabin also offers an array of spa facilities adding an air of luxury to your stay. Hop into your hot tub positioned nicely on the deck and enjoy a glass of bubbles under the stars. Or, if you want to sweat it out, head into your private sauna before cooling off with a bracing dip in the plunge pool.
When bedtime rolls around, the main king size bed sits in a semi private screened area, whilst the second bed is a single that also doubles as a window seat during the day. There’s also space for a fourth guest on a fold-out mattress on the floor - which is available on request. The owners can also provide a cot on request if you’re travelling with an infant.
Throughout the cabin you’ll find everything you need to unwind including organic cotton linens, recycled fabrics and Land & Water body care products.
Just under two hours from the bustle of London, The Red Cabin is nestled within the serene embrace of Hexden Farm, a sprawling 100-acre sheep farm located in the stunning High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This idyllic spot is recognised as a Dark Skies area, making it a stargazing paradise - don’t miss the chance to gaze at the stars and maybe even catch a glimpse of the multiple supernovae discovered from the observatory next door.
Explore the charming nearby towns of Tenterden and Rye, where you'll find a delightful mix of shops, cosy cafes and fantastic eateries ready to satisfy your culinary cravings.
