Hidey-Hole Cabin is a cute cabin for two that sits on some pretty farmland in the charming East Sussex countryside. Guests can escape their daily lives, relaxing together in the peace and tranquility of nature, or spend their time wandering around this picturesque part of the country. And with the charming village of Ticehurst nearby, with some lovely pubs on offer, this really is a fab spot for your next couple’s retreat.
The living space is open plan, with a nicely equipped quaint kitchenette, a dining area, and a comfy king sized bed that sits opposite a giant floor-to-ceiling window. Guests can enjoy their morning coffee in bed whilst gazing out at their beautiful surroundings, or if the weather’s nice, you can take it on your own private terrace, listening to the sounds of the birds as you plot your day. A log burner out here will also help you stay nice and toasty when the sun isn’t shining and can also double up as a BBQ if you fancy some al fresco cooking.
If evenings in are your thing, then you’ll be delighted to know that the cabin comes equipped with a large screen that appears at the press of a button and a projector. So you can enjoy your favourite movies in style, from the comfort of your big bed. The projector can be attached to your device using a HDMI cable, meaning you can stream Netflix or other services and enjoy them on the big screen.
The cabin also has a spacious en suite bathroom, with a flushing loo and a large walk-in shower and toiletries are provided for the duration of your stay.
There are some lovely walking routes right on your doorstep including the beautiful Bewl Water reservoir that is just a short walk away. And when it comes to drinking and eating out, the charming village of Ticehurst has several inviting country pubs.
You are located in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which means there is plenty of the south east’s most stunning scenery stretching for miles around you in all directions. Guests are encouraged to head out and explore some of the area’s best-loved sights including Scotney Castle, Bodiam Castle, and Bedgebury Pinetum, while to the south, the coastal town of Rye is both pretty and culturally interesting, and is well known for its artistic and literary connections.
