Boston House is the perfect place for family get-togethers, parties and celebrations with the space, finishings and extras to ensure everyone enjoys this luxury escape.

The property is situated on a private road, which it shares with four other holiday homes, in the magnificent Lake District National Park. Nearby is stunning Lake Windermere, the largest of the Lakes, which offers inspiring views and some of the best fell walking in England. The town is home to great pubs, restaurants and shops ideal for relaxing after conquering those peaks before heading back to the house, a traditional slate double-fronted terrace house.

Step through Gothic-style doorway into this spacious property which oozes luxury and comfort from every corner. There are three large living areas, which offer plenty of options for parties. The living room boasts wood panelled walls, a fabulous stone fireplace and wooden floor boards. Three huge leather Chesterfield sofas furnish the area and make the ideal spot to sprawl out and relax after a large celebration meal.

The kitchen is equally spacious and makes a wonderful social area for drinks and nibbles while dinner is being prepared. It features a large double oven, an essential when catering for large groups, and is exceedingly well equipped.

Continue the feasting in the big dining room which features a dining table to seat 14, a grand fireplace and stunning Gothic-style windows. Or take dinner outside on the large private patio and settle on the outdoors furniture for supper under the late-summer, lakeland sun. In the garden you'll also find the large seven-seater hot tub.

After dinner, relax down in the cellar which houses a private cinema where you can gather to watch movies and your favourite programmes. And then, to bed.

A magnificent wooden bannister leads you upstairs, warm tartan carpets underfoot, to the bedrooms. Four-poster beds feature in two of the seven bedrooms, and a further five of the rooms have en suite bathrooms. There are two more bath/shower rooms. But one thing standard in all the rooms is individual styling guaranteed to give you a great night's sleep.

And, there is plenty to get up for each day, perhaps a walk up Orrest Head from the front door, or boating on Lake Windermere, which is just a 15 minute stroll through town. There are also country pursuits nearby, including clay pigeon shooting and archery.

Foodies will love the great restaurants and gastropubs, the Michelin starred Gilpin Hotel is just two miles from Windermere and there are many other great dining options in walking distance, including the The Angel Inn and The Lamplighter.
