Luxurious Lake District retreat offering large groups a comfy and enjoyable holiday spot complete with hot tub
Large groups looking to escape to the Lake District should look no further - Bannerrigg No.5 is the perfect option and even comes complete with its own eight-person hot tub. This large cottage is part of The Terrace Windermere, which is a row of five luxury holiday homes in one of the most beautiful spots in the UK.
Sleeping up to 16 guests, the downstairs of the property is dedicated to spacious social areas - making it the ideal location for parties and gatherings. The living room boasts extended Chesterfield leather sofas so everyone staying can cosy up together in front of the open fire or flat screen TV. The dining room also has an open fire and a table big enough to seat a full house. Cooking is a delight at Bannerrigg, as meals can be prepared in the fully equipped farmhouse kitchen, that's complete with an AGA, full range cooker, and American style fridge/freezer. There is another smaller dining table in the kitchen and access to a utility room with washing machine, dryer, and toilet.
There are five bedrooms all with single beds, making Bannerrigg the ideal choice for a large group of friends. Two of the rooms have en suites, there's family bathroom on the first floor and there is another shower room on the second floor.
Bannerrigg No.5 is ideal whatever the weather and there is also plenty of outdoor space. The garden at the rear of the cottage has a raised patio with outside furniture and a barbecue. Then there is a lower garden which is ideal for games. Finally, the real touch of luxury is the covered hot tub, which can accommodate up to eight people, bringing a little slice of luxury to the proceedings.
The property is located in Windermere and there are so many things to discover in the area. Whether that is a boat trip on the famous lake or on the pretty Coniston Water, visiting the World of Beatrix Potter, or riding an old steam train on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, there is fun to be had for all ages.
Please note that the minimum stay for this property is 3 nights
