The magnificent Alexander House is a grand Scottish mansion located in the picturesque Perthshire Hills. The property is just a couple of miles from the golf courses of Gleneagles and Auchterarder, a fantastic location for special occasion celebrations, whilst boasting spectacular views in every direction.
The mansion provides luxurious and grand self-catering accommodation for up to 18 people in eight bedrooms with eight bathrooms. You can also book the east wing for smaller groups of 14 at a discount price. With plenty of room both inside and out, Alexander House has everything you need for a relaxing stay including a covered heated swimming pool and an outdoor hot tub!
There is a vast entertaining kitchen that is the social hub of the property and is nicely equipped with all the mod cons you'll need to cook delicious meals. Then there's the grand dining hall, with a circular dining table that comfortably seats 15 people and is a fantastic place to enjoy celebratory meals together in style. After dinner, why not retire to the drawing room and enjoy a drink in front of the open fireplace whilst looking out at the view from the bay window? Or you could enjoy a movie or a game with your loved ones, making use of the TV and DVD player, as well as the Sky channels, XBox and Nintendo Wii. There's also free Wi-Fi throughout. There's ample outside space that kids will love, with a sunken trampoline and kids play area.
The Perthshire hills provide a beautiful backdrop to Alexander House – the local area is begging to be explored. You will find plenty to occupy you in nearby Auchterarder, a town known for its length: the High Street is a mile-and-a-half long! Alternatively, all sorts of activities can be arranged for your group to enjoy at the house. Everything from cheerleading classes to pampering, cookery courses and archery lessons – as well as incredible dinner parties – can form part of the package.
Less than an hour’s drive from both Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports, there’s really no limit to the possibilities of Alexander House… so get together, get creative and get going.
