Beautiful country retreat in the Scottish Highlands with cosy interiors and incredible views of the surrounding hills.
Step into this stunningly reimagined stone-built steading, now transformed into a luxurious country retreat on the breathtaking Logiealmond Estate in the Scottish Highlands. Perfect for up to six guests, this single-level cottage beautifully blends characterful charm with modern comfort, offering an unforgettable escape surrounded by heather-clad hills.
The heart of the home is a light and airy modern country kitchen, complete with an Aga range cooker, induction hob and a dining table for six. This is a wonderful place to congregate with a morning coffee and when the weather’s warm, step through the French doors that open onto the garden terrace, creating the perfect spot for relaxed entertaining. Out here you’ll find a lovely patio with alfresco dining furniture and amazing views of the surrounding hills dotted with sheep. This is a wonderful spot to enjoy an evening tipple as the sun begins to set.
Back inside, head to the cosy living room which boasts dramatic exposed stone walls, antler pendant lights and inviting leather sofas. Light the wood-burning stove and settle in for snug winter evenings catching up with loved ones or enjoying a movie night on the TV.
When night falls, the cottage features three exquisite bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. Two come with super-king size beds, while the third offers a king size bed that can be converted into twins if needed. The standout master suite is a showstopper – formerly a mill house, its circular walls, antique French four-poster bed with barley twist spires and sparkling chandelier set a romantic tone. One ensuite even has a freestanding roll-top bath for ultimate indulgence.
